Amaravati: Net GST collection in May was Rs 3037 crore. In May 2026, the collections of all tax departments reached Rs 4950 crore. In May 2025, these were only Rs 4165 crore. This is a growth of 19 percent over the previous year. State Taxation Chief Commissioner Ahmed Babu said in a statement on Monday that tax collection has increased by reducing the negative economic effects of the Iran war, simplifying the tax structure and making it easier to conduct business.
