New rules for Green Card and H-1B applicants
US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a statement outlining the precautions Green Card and H-1B visa applicants must take when filling out their applications. It urged applicants to pay close attention to the revised rules regarding signatures on the application. The new regulations come into effect on July 10. USCIS stated that applications not compliant with the rules would be returned to the applicant, with no opportunity for corrective action.
