No Entry for Men in These Temples
During the hearing of the case regarding the ban on women's entry into Sabarimala, the Central Government informed the Supreme Court that men are also denied entry into seven specific temples. In certain instances, men are prohibited from entering these shrines. These include the Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, Chakkulathukavu Temple, and Kottankulangara Sreedevi Temple (Kerala); the Brahma Temple (Rajasthan); the Bhagavathi Amman Temple (Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu); the Mata Temple (Muzaffarpur, Bihar); and the Kamakhya Temple (Assam).
