No Ticket for Annamalai... Tamilisai to Contest from Mylapore
The BJP has released its list of candidates contesting for 27 seats in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The fact that the party's former state president, K. Annamalai, did not secure a ticket has become a subject of widespread discussion. Analysts speculate that the reason behind this decision lies in the differences he had with the party's alliance partner, the AIADMK. Former Telangana Governor Tamilisai is entering the fray from Mylapore, while BJP State Chief Nagendran is contesting from Sattur.
