Not ‘Bhogapuram’... it’s Visakhapatnam Airport!
Visakhapatnam: The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has issued a statement announcing a change in the designation for the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram, following some confusion regarding its airport code. Previously, the airport was associated with the code ‘VTZ’ and linked to the city of ‘Bhogapuram.’ Starting November 21 of this year, while the code will remain ‘VTZ,’ the associated city name will be changed from ‘Bhogapuram’ to ‘Visakhapatnam.’
