Oil Prices Drop; Markets Rejoice
Mumbai: Domestic stock markets traded with gains on Monday, driven by cooling crude oil prices in the international market and hopes for diplomatic progress in US-Iran talks. Consequently, the BSE Sensex rose by 291.17 points to close at 77,094.07. The market closed at 24,102.90, marking a gain of 89.80 points. The indices remained in positive territory, bolstered by buying activity in oil and gas, banking, and pharmaceutical stocks.
