Order for GE Vernova from MEIL
US-based GE Vernova announced on Monday that it has secured a massive order to supply nine pumped storage units—each with a capacity of 150 megawatts—for the 1.35 GW Upper Sileru Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant being constructed by Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) in Andhra Pradesh. This project is expected to be completed by 2030.
