Pay electricity and gas bills via WhatsApp!
New Delhi: Popular messaging app WhatsApp has expanded beyond mere chatting to introduce new services for Indian users. It has launched a ‘bill payment’ feature that allows users to pay for daily necessities—such as electricity, gas, FASTag, insurance, and credit card bills—as well as EMI installments. Powered by the Bharat Connect network, this feature enables direct payments to over 22,000 billing companies across 30 categories nationwide.
