Pemmasani provides financial assistance to Turakapalem victims
Union Minister of State Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said that deaths occurred due to melioidosis in Turakapalem, Guntur (D). He said that the disease spread unknowingly. A compensation of Rs. 5 lakh each was given to the families of the 28 deceased. He assured that all possible help would be provided to the victims. He said that medical experts have been brought to collect blood samples in the area and test them.
