Photoshoot Hazard: Rogue Wave Sweeps Young Woman and Friend into the Sea
A Friendship Day celebration turned tragic at Old Gangavaram Beach in Visakhapatnam's Pedagantyada mandal when two youths were swept away by rogue waves. A group of seven friends visited the spot in an auto and climbed shoreline rocks to pose for photos and videos. Suddenly, a massive wave crashed against the rocks, knocking Neetu into the sea. Her friend Ramu immediately jumped in to save her, but strong currents swept both into the deep waters, prompting a police search.
