Residential buildings collapsed in Kyiv, vehicles caught fire, people panicked
Kiev: Russia has carried out another catastrophic attack on the Ukrainian capital Kiev. At least two people have died in this fierce drone and missile attack by Russia. While 11 others were injured. This attack was so terrible that Kiev has been shaken. This has created an atmosphere of tremendous panic among the people.
1-year-old child dies in the attack
The attack was so terrible that even skyscrapers collapsed. High flames and black smoke are seen rising from many buildings. Ukrainian officials said on Sunday that the dead also included an innocent one-year-old child, who was pulled out of the rubble. Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev city administration, said that the child was found dead during relief and rescue operations, which further increased the tragedy of the incident.
Drone fell on residential buildings in Kiev
Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that the debris of the Russian drone fell in the Sviatoshinsky and Darnitsky districts of the capital, where a residential building suffered serious damage. Fire brigades and emergency services immediately reached the affected areas. After this, the injured were admitted to the hospital. Due to this attack, many apartments were badly damaged, while vehicles parked nearby were also burnt to ashes. There is an atmosphere of panic among the local residents and many people have been temporarily sent to safer places.
Ukraine claims to have shot down several drones
The Ukrainian Air Force has claimed that they shot down some Russian drones, but it was not possible to stop all the attacks. This attack has come at a time when there was a relatively calm atmosphere in Kiev, due to which citizens have again faced fear and insecurity.
This incident is being condemned internationally and it is being termed as targeted violence against civilians. The Ukrainian government has put it in the category of war crime and demanded strict action against Russia.
