Rs 10 Crore for Bathukamma Celebrations
Hyderabad: The government has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for organizing the Bathukamma festival, which symbolizes Telangana's culture and traditions. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of the Youth, Tourism, and Culture Department, issued orders to this effect. This amount will be released from the funds allocated to the Department of Language and Culture in the 2026-27 budget. The festivities will be held over a period of nine days, from October 10 to October 18.
