The Times of India  (ToI) has revealed that public sector oil companies are considering reducing the refill size of LPG cylinders in an effort to address issues related to gas supply. The report suggests that there is a possibility of supplying only 10 kg of gas (at a proportionately reduced price) in the standard 14.2 kg cylinders. "For a small family, a 14.2 kg cylinder lasts for 35 to 40 days; a 10 kg cylinder would suffice for a month. This measure would prevent shortages and allow companies the opportunity to replenish their stocks during this period," the report quoted an official as saying.
