Legendary athlete Serena Williams suffered a defeat in the first round upon returning to competition after a long hiatus of four years. The 44-year-old, a 23-time Grand Slam singles champion who received a wild-card entry into the prestigious Wimbledon tournament, gave her opponent a tough fight over three sets.
