Severe depression... Rains in these districts
Andhra Pradesh: The Meteorological Department has stated that due to the severe depression centered in the southwest Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of rain in Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, Annamayya, and Kadapa districts today and tomorrow. This depression is moving towards Sri Lanka at a speed of 13 km per hour. Officials revealed that it is likely to cross the coast between Trincomalee and Jaffna by this evening. They said that winds will blow at a speed of 50-60 kilometers per hour in the coastal areas.
