Shootout at Kyiv Supermarket: Six Dead!
Six people lost their lives in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, during a shooting spree carried out by a deranged individual. In Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, the assailant opened fire indiscriminately at people walking on the street. Subsequently, he stormed into a supermarket and took several individuals hostage. Following a tense standoff lasting approximately 40 minutes, special forces (KORD) conducted an operation in which four hostages were rescued. The attacker was shot dead.
