Telangana: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that adequate measures have been taken to ensure that those traveling to their hometowns for Sankranthi do not face any difficulties. "We have prepared alternative routes on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway. There is only some congestion at the Panthangi toll gate. Six bridges are under construction on the Vijayawada highway. We have already spoken to the National Highway Director. The machinery there has also been removed," he said.
