Special Project for Araku Development
Andhra Pradesh: The Union Budget announced two eco-tourism projects for the state. A mountain trails project for world-class trekking and hiking in Araku, and another project to allow tourists to closely observe migratory birds visiting Pulicat Lake will be made available. The central government has decided to develop mountain trails in the Eastern Ghats for trekking and bring more recognition to Araku.
