Strait of Hormuz Closed Again
Cairo: Iran has once again closed the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, which had announced on Friday that it was fully reopening the strait—following a ceasefire agreement with the U.S. and a halt to Israeli attacks on Lebanon—revealed on Saturday morning that it had closed it once again. The IRGC announced that restrictions were being reimposed on the strait specifically because the United States had violated the peace agreement. The temporary ceasefire agreement reached between the U.S. and Iran is set to expire on the 22nd of this month.
