Andhra Pradesh: State Women's Commission Chairperson Rayapati Shailaja expressed her concern over AP being ranked third in the national level in teenage pregnancies. She said that the reasons for this are the attractions of social media, lack of education of parents and lack of awareness. Speaking in Vijayawada, he said, "We are conducting special programs under the auspices of collectors to reduce pregnancy at an early age. We are creating awareness among parents and girls."
