Telangana Government's Budget is a 'People's Budget'
Khammam: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the Telangana government's budget is a "People's Budget," designed entirely to improve the lives of the citizens. He addressed a press conference at the Khammam District Congress office on Sunday. Citing the Comprehensive Household Survey previously conducted in the state, he announced the introduction of the 'Indiramma Life Insurance Scheme'—offering coverage worth ₹5 lakhs—for 1.15 crore people. He noted that no other part of the country has implemented a collective family insurance scheme on such a massive scale, adding that this initiative would serve as a model for the entire nation.
