India's first trainer developed with indigenous technology has taken off. HAL has announced that the Bengaluru-made Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 (HTT-40) has been made available. The next generation air warriors will be trained through this. It is designed to sit one in the front and one in the back. It will be used to provide basic flight training, aerobatics and night flying training.
