Theft on a flight... Gold and diamond jewelry missing from luggage
A woman has approached the police claiming that her gold and diamond jewelry went missing from her luggage during a flight. Shanta Ramesh, who is settled in the US, traveled from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi on November 15th of last year. After arriving there, she discovered that 790 grams of gold, diamond jewelry worth Rs. 8 lakhs, and $200 in cash were missing from her luggage. After failing to get a resolution from the airport authorities, she recently filed a complaint with the police.
