They can hear even without ears!
Due to their unique body shape and muscle structure, some creatures can hear even without external ears. Snakes receive sound signals to their inner ear through their jawbone. The hairs on a spider's legs detect vibrations and sense danger. Salamanders can hear through their skin and skull bones, and lizards through their internal body structure. Many types of fish also hear sounds by developing a special system in the area where they live.
