This is how women can change their surname in Aadhaar
Women change their surname after marriage. However, these details have to be changed in the Aadhaar card as well. For this, one has to go to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra and get the Enrollment and Update Form and fill the details. For this, documents like marriage certificate and affidavit have to be provided. Biometric verification is done and a URN number is given. After updating, the new Aadhaar can be downloaded from the UIDAI website.
