Visakhapatnam: The fire at the East India Petroleum Limited (EIPL) company has not been completely contained. It is known that the fire broke out after lightning struck a methanol oil (petroleum filtering) tank on Sunday afternoon. The fire continued to come from that tank till Monday night. Eastern Naval Command officials have brought a Sea King helicopter from INS Dega and are trying to control the fire by spraying foam and water on the tank.
