Veterinary medicines at low prices: Atchannaidu
Andhra Pradesh: Minister Atchannaidu said that generic veterinary medicines will be provided to livestock farmers at subsidized prices. ‘For this, we will set up 150 drug sales points in the premises of veterinary hospitals. We will hand them over to sheep farming cooperative societies. We will implement this project with ₹5.41 crore. Those who set up a unit will be provided with ₹1.5 lakh as special assistance. They will get 20% incentive on purchase and 20% margin on sales,’ the minister said.
