Wasting Water? Face a Fine!
Hyderabad City: The Water Board is taking measures to curb the misuse of drinking water. Acting on complaints received from the public, the board verifies the violations on-site and initiates action in accordance with the regulations. As part of this, a fine of ₹5,000 was imposed on a residence in the Jubilee Hills area for wasting drinking water. Local residents had reported to the Water Board’s WhatsApp number that the premises of a house—located at Plot No. 1157, Road No. 57—were being cleaned using drinking water.
