Captain Surya has backed the bowlers, saying that the heavy defeat against South Africa was not due to them. He said that Team India was disappointed by losing key wickets in the powerplay while chasing 188 runs. Although Bumrah and Arshdeep excelled in bowling.. the rest of them gave away runs freely. However, Surya concluded that the failure of the batters was the main reason for the defeat. He expressed confidence that they will bounce back in the next match against Zimbabwe.
