What speed, 'Robo'!
A remarkable feat occurred at the World Humanoid Robot Games held in Beijing, China. Two robots shattered the world record for the 100-meter dash set by Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt. Bolt had established the world record by completing the 100-meter race in 9.58 seconds at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin. During the preliminary heats, two robots completed the race in less time than Bolt's record.
