World record with 216 hours of Bharatanatyam
A 23-year-old Vidushi Deeksha from Udupi, Karnataka, has created a world record by performing Bharatanatyam. She performed Bharatanatyam continuously for 216 hours, breaking her old record of 170 hours and earning a place in the Golden Book of World Records. She achieved the feat by taking just 15 minutes of rest every three hours during the performance held at the Dr. G. Shankar Women's College auditorium.
