13-year-old dispute over police seniority resolved
Amaravati: A long-standing dispute regarding seniority within the police department, which had persisted for 13 years, has finally been resolved. The government decided to revise the seniority of Head Constables (HCs) across all districts in the state by treating September 1st as the eligibility date for the ‘C-list,’ effective from the 2013 panel year. Orders to this effect were issued on Friday, directing DGP Harish Kumar Gupta to implement the decision.
