Asian Games: Concerns mount regarding the semi-final venue
After achieving a resounding victory in its opening match at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, the Indian women's cricket team is set to face Bangladesh in the semi-finals on Sunday. Concerns are being raised as this match is also scheduled to take place at the Korogi Sports Park. Water has stagnated in certain areas of the ground, causing difficulties for athletes and reporters moving around the venue. Meanwhile, Indian athletes are also facing issues regarding facilities; notably, an Athletes' Village has not been set up for the Asian Games.
