1,800 km LPG Pipeline Network Worth ₹7,000 Crore
The country's LPG supply pipeline network is set to expand significantly in the near future. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has approved projects to develop approximately 1,800 kilometers of new LPG pipelines with an investment of around ₹7,000 crore. These projects will be executed by the public sector undertaking GAIL Limited. With this expansion, the country's common carrier LPG pipeline network will grow from approximately 7,700 kilometers to 9,500 kilometers (an increase of about 23.5 percent).
