₹276 Crore in Central Funds Sent Back
Hyderabad: Due to the inaction of high-ranking state government officials, ₹276 crore in fee reimbursement funds—released by the Central Government for SC and ST students—has been returned to the Centre. The State Government's failure to pay its share of funds within the stipulated deadline is the reason behind this situation. It is reported that the Union Secretary for Tribal Affairs has sought an explanation regarding this matter from the State Chief Secretary, Ramakrishna Rao.
