Srivari Salakatla Vasanthotsavams Begin Today
The Srivari Salakatla Vasanthotsavams (Spring Festivals) are scheduled to take place in Tirumala from today until April 1st. These festivities will be conducted at the Vasantha Mandapam. Over these three days, the presiding deity will be taken in a procession through the Mada Streets. Devotees are expected to turn out in large numbers tomorrow between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM to witness the procession of Srivaru on the Golden Chariot. For these three days, the TTD has cancelled the Kalyanam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas; additionally, tomorrow's Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva has also been cancelled.
