4,500 km Padayatra for Rahul to Become Prime Minister
A *padayatra* (foot march) undertaken by Katuri Venkateswarlu—a High Court advocate from the Ongole region of Andhra Pradesh—with the aspiration of seeing senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi become Prime Minister, reached Sangareddy on Thursday. TPCC Working President Jagga Reddy accorded him a grand welcome and walked alongside him. Later, Jagga Reddy spoke to the media, noting that undertaking a *padayatra* from Kanyakumari to Kashmir is no small feat. He explained that the marcher has already covered 1,590 kilometers and that the journey will span a total of 4,500 kilometers.
