50% additional fares in special buses: Sajjanar
TGSRTC MD Sajjanar said that more than 7,000 buses are being run during the Bathukamma and Dussehra festivals. He said that 50% additional fare is being charged in special buses, while the rest of the buses have normal fares. ‘The buses are coming empty on the return journey. We are charging 50% extra for diesel and maintenance. This is not a new practice. We are implementing the GO given in 2003,’ he said.
