Experts say that medical costs in the US are likely to increase further with Trump's 100% tax on pharma products. "The US healthcare system is largely dependent on low-cost generic medicines from countries like India. The tariff will reduce imports, affecting the availability and supply of medicines. Also, if the prices of imported goods increase, it will affect inflation," they warn.
