An ambulance driver's drowsiness claimed the lives of four people and left two others critically injured. A family had set out from West Bengal to Bengaluru—the capital of Karnataka—in an ambulance, determined to save an asthma patient. However, tragedy struck when the ambulance rammed into a stationary lorry from behind; the patient, three family members, and the ambulance co-driver all lost their lives. The driver and two others sustained injuries. This incident occurred early Monday morning on the National Highway near Uranduru in the Srikalahasti Mandal of Tirupati district.
