‘AnantSat-1’ to be launched in three years
The Indian space sector has reached another key milestone. Hyderabad-based Anant Technologies will launch the country’s first private communication satellite ‘AnantSat-1’ to be launched in 2029. The company’s chairman Pavuluri Subbarao recently revealed that arrangements are being made to launch this satellite in 2029. He said that with this satellite, which is being developed with a capacity of 100 gigabytes per second, it will be possible to provide broadband internet, tele-education and tele-medicine services to even the remotest parts of the country.
