Appointment of Presiding Officers under the Land Acquisition Act
The Revenue Department has issued orders appointing Presiding Officers for the Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada regions to facilitate the implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013 (the Land Acquisition Act). G. Sai Prasad, Special Chief Secretary of Revenue, issued orders (G.O. 652) appointing retired District Judge P. Bhaskara Rao as the Presiding Officer for the Visakhapatnam region and retired District Judge T. Venkateswarlu as the Presiding Officer for the Vijayawada region.
