Telangana: Alert for those buying sweets during the Diwali festival. Inspections by food safety officials have revealed that synthetic colors, fake silver foil, reused oil, and adulterated ghee are being used in many sweet shops in the state. It has been revealed that sweets are being made with expired ingredients without following minimum hygiene standards. With this, officials are advising people to check the quality of sweets in the shops before buying them.
