Azharuddin and Kodandaram’s MLC Candidacies Approved
Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has approved the file regarding the Governor's quota MLC nominations—a matter that had been pending at the Lok Bhavan for the past nine months. The Governor signed the necessary documents, thereby approving the candidacies of former cricketer Azharuddin and Professor Kodandaram. The State Government sent this file to the Governor for review on August 30 of last year. Although the then Governor, Jishnu Dev Varma, sought a legal opinion, he kept the file pending.
