Ban on Bowling for Deliberate No-Balls
Bengaluru: The BCCI is set to implement a key change in the rules of the game ahead of the upcoming domestic season. From now on, if a bowler intentionally bowls a front-foot no-ball or delivers the ball without it bouncing on the pitch, they will be banned from bowling for the remainder of the entire match, not just that specific innings. The BCCI has already communicated this directive to all state cricket associations. The Board plans to implement this rule starting from the 2026-27 season.
