Bank calls will now be made from this number!
Customers who are suffering from spam calls will soon get relief. It seems that from now on, calls from banks will come only from numbers starting with '1600'. TRAI has decided that banks, finance & insurance companies will have to call only from numbers starting with 1600. Earlier, this series was limited to a few banks. Other companies used to make calls from the old 140 or mobile number.
