Robots to replace 6 lakh workers.. Amazon plans!
Amazon is moving towards automation. The New York Times report revealed that the company will replace 600,000 jobs in the US with robots by 2033. The company said that its robotics team is working to automate 75% of its operations. It estimates that 1.6 lakh jobs that need to be replaced can be cut by 2027. It said that automation is expected to save $12.6B between 2025-2027.
