‘Battle of Galwan’ Renamed: Director Responds
It is well known that the title of the film *Battle of Galwan*—starring Salman Khan as the lead—has been changed to *Matrubhoomi*. The film's director, Apoorva Lakhia, has responded to this development. "This was not a decision taken overnight; we had registered two titles in advance. The film portrays themes of humanity, empathy, and the silent struggles of our soldiers. The new title better reflects the emotional core of the movie," he stated.
