‘Break the Silence’ to Become a People’s Movement
Mangalagiri: Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha called for transforming the ‘Break the Silence’ initiative—launched by the organization ‘Eagle’ to provide appropriate assistance to children affected by drug abuse while maintaining the confidentiality of their details—into a people’s movement. On Friday, she reviewed the progress and future action plan of the programs undertaken by Eagle at its headquarters in Mangalagiri. She also launched the ‘Break the Silence’ initiative, urging people to provide information via the phone number 1972.
