BSNL launches satellite phone
New Delhi: Indian government telecom operator BSNL has launched a satellite phone to be used in emergency situations and in areas where cell phone networks are not available. The company said that it has been designed to suit the Indian climate. The company explained that the phone has been designed to have a long battery life, withstand extreme weather conditions and facilitate voice calls.
